My goal as a therapist is to help build positive self-esteem and develop healthy coping mechanisms that will be applicable in the daily lives of my clients.
To achieve this, I use an eclectic approach that includes cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and person centered therapy to ensure that the client’s needs are the focus of goals and interventions and will align with the course of treatment.
I help adult clients by offering a perspective different from the client’s that is supported using scientific knowledge to help the client towards their goals.
I enjoy working with children with a strong emphasis with teens/adolescents. I have ample experience in applied behavioral analysis therapy with children on the autistic spectrum and working directly with students who have intellectual and physical disabilities & impairments such as anxiety, Tourette’s Syndrome, ADHD, and depression serving as emotional support.
